I will be updating this post on Black Owned Restaurants in Brooklyn as the weeks and months go by. Blackout tattoos are sometimes used to cover-up older ink, but. Basically, these tattoos are created by filling in a large area on the body with nothing but black ink, like coloring in a whole coloring page black. If you plan to visit any of the Black owned restaurants in Brooklyn, here’s a map you can save for future use. A blackout tattoo is when a large section of the body (typically arms or legs) are inked with a solid, opaque covering of black ink. In the meantime, I’ll continue to support these businesses by ordering take-out, using their catering options for special occasions, and using food delivery services. I’ve been to a good amount of these restaurants for brunch, dinner, and drinks with friends and family and can’t wait to visit more once the shelter in place is lifted. As NYC begins to open again, many of these restaurants will be open for outdoor dining.
